    Paccha is a typical Andean village of the Ayacucho area. While some of Peru sees progress, the state of Ayacucho is still an area of extreme poverty with many needs the government hasn’t addressed.

    Tasty lunch, better nutrition
    We provide a healthy lunch for more than 400 students. Good nutrition among children is progressing. Malnutrition and parents' main concern that children receive school lunch is a problem we address.

    Library program embraced
    The literacy program started in 2009, and currently there are 2,000 books in the villages. Reading competitions are held annually. Kids read to the older generation, which adds excitement to reading.

    Join us each April
    Our annual FUNraiser is held each spring in April. The gourmet food, wines, live music, silent auction bidding and comraderie is always exceptional.

What a difference six years has made in Patawasi. They have gone from a rustic adobe classroom to a well equipped classroom with much enthusiasm for learning.
